Welcome to the weird world of a waiting mum.

This blog is designed to help me through the maddnes that is the waiting game that is played out by all adoptive parents. having something to play with that will help to kept the mind positive and focused on the joy that is waiting around the corner of time, that is just out of our focus!!

old pics

I was going through some old pics and found these from Jumbo's first trip down south to met the relatives. we visited old Nana at the nursing home and the boys were so sweet entertaining the other residents. It was the last time we saw Nana she passed on shortly after.

This was Jumbo pretending to be dead and needing the foot of life, he then would get up and run around and tell the residents it was ok he was alive now. !!

One old fellow got teary when we left and asked if we could come again.

The boys chose to wear their King shirts to liven up the place. I am sure we were the big event for the week.

this is 2 of our cousins Sean and Thomas, the kids had not meet Jumbo before and had only met Jarryd once but were quickly old buddies

He was such little bundle of fun and laughter and still is just harder to catch and throw around

New Member of the Family

The boys and I went shopping with Nana today to buy the boys a bantam rooster, but came home with a surprise fathers day present for Pa.
Well the boys think that he is theirs too of course.
Mum had been looking for a Bichon cross with a Shitzu for ages so it we great.
Although Pa got naming rights and called him Jim Jim,
then Jumbo informed him that it should be
Little Jim Jim PA!
It is only 8 weeks old and the boys hardly put it down.

While I was out getting Colin his fathers day gift
for the boys, apparently all 3 where that worn out that they needed to have a doggy nap in the laundry.
I felt like the big bad mum having to wake them and drag them home to go out for tea.

When we got back to our house the boys insisted that I ring to check on Jim Jim in case he missed them too much , I had to reassure them that we would see him tomorrow for Fathers day.
